- Final Rolling: The foil is then passed into a set of rollers which progressively reduce its thickness to finally achieve the desired foil thickness.
After a series of rolling processes, the aluminum foil becomes a continuous sheet with a uniform thickness. It is typically rolled into large coils for ease of transportation and handling. Depending on its intended use, the foil can be further processed to suit the requirements such as by cutting it in size, embossing patterns on its surface, and adding a special coating for functional purposes.
